Not only does it provide one-stop browsing and shopping for used and new bike gear, you can also share community with other bike enthusiasts.  Participate in a bunny-hop contest, find out about local family bike rides and mountain bike groups, get the info on bike workshops and planned bike parks/trails in the Bay Area.

Best of all, by rolling up you're doing good.  Proceeds from sponsorships, swap registrations, consignment fees, raffles and exhibitor registration fees will benefit The Bay Area Bike Project (BABP) , which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that mobilizes people through the Power of Bicycles.  BABP is committed to getting more kids on bikes, bike education and advocating for safe biking communities.  To find out more about Bay Area Bike Project please visit: or follow them on social media.

  • Browse the selection of bikes (adult and kids, specialized and recreational), parts, apparel, gear and more — new and used — you never know what gems you’ll discover!

  • If you purchase from a vendor booth, check with the vendor to understand the purchase terms.

  • If you purchase from the SWAP,  there are some things you'll need to know:

  1. Some bikes will be available for test riding in a small secure area.
It will be noted on the tag if the Seller will allow test rides.
Safety first:  BYOH (Bring your own helmet).   You must bring your own helmet to test ride a bike.

  2. NO RETURNS.  All sales are as-is and final.  This is a one day consignment and it's just not feasible to offer returns.  We will do our best to check quality when sellers drop off items but please check your items carefully before purchasing.   If you really are regretting your purchase, you can always sell it at next year's SWAP.

  3. There will be mechanics from local shops to chat with and help with safety checks.  Take advantage of these free resources before purchasing your bike.

  4.  There will be volunteers ready to assist and answer questions.

  5.   You may purchase items with cash or by card.
